Do Now 1/2/14

2013 was a fairly normal year I went on vacation, laughed, cried, ok maybe not cried. I dont really have any goals for the new year but to be a better person overall. Im not exactly sure how to achieve that though

Pros and Cons of a 3-D printer.

When many people hear about a 3-D printer, the first thing that comes in their mind is how it can be used to make weapons. Even though that's mainly what's talked about, there is also a good side to 3-D printers.

You can make things like acoustic guitars, camera lenses, flutes, kaleidoscopes, plastic mugs, and even fabric! 3-D printers work by layering melted plastic to make a 3-D form.  

How can Twitter be used in the classroom?

It can be used in multiple different ways to help educate and teach people different skills. It could be used to inform people of homework and put up notes or lesson. It can also help suggest different educational websites or articles. I don't see too many problems that could happen with twitter.You can also learn about cats. =

1.Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?

I selected them mainly because they are related or talk about my interests. 

2.Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?

Yes, it was fairly easy to find them except for some websites like the FBI website.

3.Which sites were your favorites?

My favorite ones were the NASA feed, CNN,and the CIA. 

4.What else can you use RSS feeds for?

It could be used to show your friends interesting websites alot easier.

5.How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?

It depends if i take your class again.

Seeing something like this

makes me want to make up for these kind of people in the world.
To be truthful I don't have any life goals, my main goal in life is to be the most interesting person i could possibly be. I'm not sure if I'm able to contribute to society with that. =(

This special device is not just a toy for you're child, but it is also a monitor for those overprotective parents. This bear has a microphone, a thermometer, and sensors for the child's pulse and to keep track of their growing strength. It is able to be recorded on a near iOS or android device. There is also a microphone in case you want to talk to your baby. It is currently $99 to pre-order it. I believe it is a really cool devise, but not as cool as a baby vacuum. 

Typhoon in the Philippines

After hearing about the typhoon in the Philippines the only thing that i was able to think about were my cousins . I could not stop thinking of them until i heard from them yesterday (there doing ok). Im overall happy that they are fine.
